Get to know Frank

Frank Mauriello’s life has been defined by a deep commitment to family and community. He currently serves as the Republican Leader of the Albany County Legislature and has built a strong record of public service, including roles on the Colonie Town Board and as Deputy Town Supervisor. Frank also served with the Midway Fire District as both a member and Chair of the Board of Fire Commissioners, contributed to the South Colonie Dollars for Scholars program as a board member, and was honored with induction into the Colonie Central High School Hall of Fame.

The son of Italian immigrants who settled in the Colonie and Schenectady area, Frank is a proud graduate of Colonie Central High School and Siena College. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he recently retired after a long and successful career in the private sector. Now, Frank is running for New York State Assembly to continue serving his community—working to make our neighborhoods safer and more affordable for families across the Capital District.
